Being only 16 years old, its hard to be taken seriously when I tell people “yeah, I can cook.” Designing a dish and seeing it come together beautifully on the plate is my highest joy. This is my crispy duck with honey roast beets, butternut puree, chard, and blackberry demi glace.

First timer- this hugelkultur was made and seeded in early May. Now, everyday it is a salad/smoothie bar. Growing: lettuces, romaine, swiss chard, cucumbers, zuccini, radishes, beets, dill, kale, pumpkin, tomatos, cilantro, and basil.
Back in my day, we didn't have fancy Reinforce-mint! We replanted every Chard Guard one by one.
